This past week has been a busy one because I've been planning a baby shower for my sister and her husband, Jose! It's been a lot of fun gathering all the decorations, planning games, and buying gifts! I can't wait to meet little Baby Joshua!

I love visiting, especially since every time I do.. I get to bond with my little guy! He's getting so big... I can't believe he'll be 2 in just a couple of weeks! I can remember the day he was born as if it were yesterday!

This ended up being an exhausting day, but a good one... I definitely took advantage of the wonderful weather! Jerm, April and I ventured off to Granby St. in the evening where it was the opening night of Art Everywhere. Definitely check it out if you have not had a chance to! You might even get to take free photobooth pictures too :)

Happy 30th Birthday, Ate!!!

My sister, brother-in-law, and I decided to take a day trip to Williamsburg. This was my first time in Williamsburg in about a year and a half, and I was just overcome with nostalgia. We weren't there for that long, so we didn't get to see a lot of my favorite places, but my sister insisted we stop at the Cheese Shop because she had a craving for their sandwiches. I'm hoping to make more trips there, especially now that it's Spring. I honestly think Williamsburg is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever lived.

This past weekend was jammed-packed, but it was A LOT of fun! The weekend began with the Shamrock 8k on Saturday morning.

My brother and I both ran the race and finished under an hour. (My chip time was 45:14!) Here we are with Ariston after the race. I just love this picture :) The next couple of photos are some of the activities that followed the race...

... We got free Yuengling afterwards... it was so refreshing! :)

It was such a beautiful morning! I could've spent the entire day sitting in the sand. It was so nice to be at the beach again! I seriously can't wait for summer!

Later that evening, I met up with Brian who was visiting from NYC!

This is my second "photo-a-day" of him getting tattooed! [Here's the first!] But this time was special 'cause...

... I got one too! ;)

I finally followed through on my tattoo! It's my "Little B"... I'm still so excited about it! I bet some of you guys didn't think it wouldn't be any thing more than this ;)

I always love flipping through old photos, especially old family photos. With everything else I've been doing (which really doesn't feel like much), I've decided to also make it a project to organize all these photos. I don't think anyone else in my family will, and I'm sure they'll appreciate it ;)

My sister-in-law sent me this photo today, and I just thought it was the cutest/funniest thing! They're all snowed in up in Northern VA... my poor baby must be sooo bored!

December 25th, 2009 - Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I sure did! :)

It included lumpia shanghai, ham, pancit, fried rice, mashed potatoes, turkey, and an apple pie (not pictured). I really had a nice, homey, happy Christmas... it's always nice to be around family. We are all very excited about Christmas 2010, though! My parents and Melanie will be back stateside, and we'll have a new addition to the family.. can't wait!

And for my last favorite Christmas movie scene... My sister and I were watching A Christmas Story as we prepared our holiday meal. I love that I can look forward to watching this movie every Christmas Day.

A belated Happy Thanksgiving! :)

I'm thankful for many things, but I'm especially thankful for Snickers

(she's my best friend these days)...

It's so funny just how kids can instantly put a smile on your face. He never fails to put one on mine :)

I couldn't take as many pictures as I would've liked, but I'm happy that I got to capture what I could. Thanksgiving is certainly different without my whole family around and my Dad's extensive menu, but I was sure happy to spend it with my brother and his family :)

I am incredibly thankful, though, that I got to see my family recently, for good friends, and for sunshine... the list is endless, really.
