I feel like my latest haircut is too Asian... even for me.

I realize that this photo is a bit blurry, but I don't really care. I just think it's the cutest thing.. hehehe. I took this while waiting for Snickers at the vet.

Here's my baby saying bye-bye :( Hope to see you soooon!

Here's a little snippet of Ariston singing Ne-Yo's "Mad" ... He reminds me of me when I was a lot younger, actually. Hehehe... ;) He's only 18 months!

Late night cocktails with the family!

Snickers and Ariston... I just love pictures with little kids and pets.
It's double the adorable!

December 25th, 2009 - Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I sure did! :)

[My sister and her husband with their "his" and "her" blankets that I got for them. I figured they should take advantage of all the naps they can get before Baby Gaga arrives.. ]

[Here's my nephew, Ariston, trying on his dad's new shoes. He's so silly!]

Our Christmas dinner prepared by Ate` Tish, Ate`, and me :)
It included lumpia shanghai, ham, pancit, fried rice, mashed potatoes, turkey, and an apple pie (not pictured). I really had a nice, homey, happy Christmas... it's always nice to be around family. We are all very excited about Christmas 2010, though! My parents and Melanie will be back stateside, and we'll have a new addition to the family.. can't wait!

And for my last favorite Christmas movie scene... My sister and I were watching A Christmas Story as we prepared our holiday meal. I love that I can look forward to watching this movie every Christmas Day.

A Merry, merry Christmas to you and yours

If you have not tried Kin's Wok off of 21st St in Norfolk's Ghent, you must go! Best Chinese place in the area! Trust me, you won't be disappointed ;)

December 22nd, 2009

This photo was taken in Hallmark (doing some last minute Christmas shopping, of course). Now I probably only go to Hallmark once a year (probably during the holidays) and every year, it always continues to surprise me... they really do carry a lot of neat trinkets! I think these frames would really make great gifts.

Now for another favorite Christmas movie scene... again, embedding was disabled, but this scene is from Love Actually. Sadly, I couldn't find the scene I really enjoyed (which was the ending scene at the airport where all the characters come together to the Beach Boys' God Only Knows...), but I figured that since I enjoyed the entire movie, any scene would do... So, I decided to go with this one here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enrSE6vRWRY&feature=related

It's the romantic in me... *sigh* haha ;)

I haven't really shown off any of the things I've knitted so far.. (remember, back in September - or was it October? - I had this plan to start all these new knitting projects... well, I've done a couple!) This is a coffee sleeve I knitted (with the help of this website here) ... and I just adore it! I'm hoping to make more... who knows?! Maybe some of you guys might be getting it for Christmas ;)
