Like I said, it was literally a weekend spent at the beach. You really can't get sick of it. This time, it was an afternoon spent at North Shore with these lovely ladies here...

Oh how lovely it would be to have the beach as your backyard...

I took this shot because I loved the placement of the sun alongside the church, but now I love just how the photo looks so haunting... especially since it wasn't grey at all that day.

I've been in a particularly artsy mood lately (though I haven't actually produced any work), but for whatever reason I was drawn to all these colors and thought how much fun it would be to paint this set-up here.

So, since moving back home, my bedroom has been filled with things from high school, college, and other random things that I've accumulated over the past two years. Back in high school - I'm a little embarrassed to admit it now, but anyway - I was a huge fan of BBMak, and I had cut-outs and magazine pictures of them all posted on this cheetah board here. I was finally able to throw that shrine out today. What can I say?... I'm growing :) hahaha... I really should've done a before-and-after picture.

I've had my pepper plant for some time now (it was given to me from my former co-worker). I have every intention to start a herb and vegetable garden, but am really apprehensive because 1). I don't know how or where to begin, and 2). I'm afraid my plants will die because of the summer heat. I'm really excited to have one, though!

I spent my beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Virginia Beach Town Center. I'm still pretty amazed of all the new development that has happened here over the past five or so years.

On Friday, I met up with my old friend and had dinner at the Red Dog Saloon in Ghent. Food and drinks are so cheap down here (practically dirt cheap!)... I love it!!!

My brother and his family and friends came down on Friday, and we spent the day at Sandbridge. It was my nephew's first time going to the beach and he absolutely loved it! It was so much fun to see him play in the sand and water. It was another perfect (and I mean PERFECT) day to be at the beach. I can really get used to this :)
