My sister and her husband are visiting for the week! This was the first time I got to see her growing belly since Christmas!

I told myself that for this spring & summer season that I will try to wear nothing but dresses! This was just the beginning of my dress shopping (left, H&M; right, Target)... Let's just say that I certainly went to town this week shopping-wise... I'm sure my new dresses will be featured in future photos ;) I seriously can't wait to wear them!

On this day, I got my new tights in the mail!!! It seems silly to order a pair of tights online, but after visiting her blog (I just love her style... I certainly can't pull off half the things she can), I just had to order a pair of these same tights for myself, and I just adore them! Want a pair too? Get them here!

Sunday was equally jammed-packed running all around VB, I just didn't have a chance to take that many photos...
For lunch, Brian, Natalie, Ashley and I picked up some Wing King and brought it over to Genelle's house. It was so great to finally see her (she's another middle school friend, although technically we didn't meet 'til the 11th grade) and her two-week old baby, Joey! He's absolutely adorable! I'm so happy for them!
After stuffing our faces with hot (and golden) wings, and other fried yumminess at Genelle's... we decided to head to Melt and eat crepes and gelato! (I almost can't believe that I didn't take any photos of food... that's probably a good thing; we were pretty gluttonous!) But anyway, we found it rather funny that we all have aviators, so of course we had to take a picture!

This past weekend was jammed-packed, but it was A LOT of fun! The weekend began with the Shamrock 8k on Saturday morning.
My brother and I both ran the race and finished under an hour. (My chip time was 45:14!) Here we are with Ariston after the race. I just love this picture :) The next couple of photos are some of the activities that followed the race...
... We got free Yuengling afterwards... it was so refreshing! :)
... And Tara ran the race too!
It was such a beautiful morning! I could've spent the entire day sitting in the sand. It was so nice to be at the beach again! I seriously can't wait for summer!
Later that evening, I met up with Brian who was visiting from NYC!
This is my second "photo-a-day" of him getting tattooed! [Here's the first!] But this time was special 'cause...
... I got one too! ;)
I finally followed through on my tattoo! It's my "Little B"... I'm still so excited about it! I bet some of you guys didn't think it wouldn't be any thing more than this ;)

I never used to like sunglasses (because I thought I looked silly in them, I probably still do actually), but I only started to wear them to protect my eyes while driving. Now, however, I think they're wonderful fashion accessories and I treated myself to a pair of aviator-esque sunglasses from Banana Republic after being hired as a Research Assistant position at EVMS! Heeeee... I love them!
Oh, and the next pair I want are the Ray Ban Clubmaster sunglasses. Guess I have to start saving my pretty pennies now...

March is a strange month... because some days can be perfect, and others can be dreary. But I still love it because it means that Spring is just around the corner! Here are some daffodils around my house fooled by the nice weather. (They're in full bloom now, though, yay!) :)

I began my day at Abbey's 8th birthday party at Jillians... I felt so old! I'm not used to being called "Auntie Melissa"... Eeeeek! Hehe, but I still had a good time! [Abbey's cake was almond/strawberry heaven! So, so good! I am eating a piece right now ;)]
I ended the day watching the Pacquiao vs. Clottey fight! I personally don't think it was a real memorable fight, but it was another victory for Pacquiao! Yaaay! Here we are in our Pacquiao shirts! I know that mine is the tackiest... but that's why I love it! :)

Ashley's ice cream party! She was such a great hostess, and she and Andrew have the most adorable home! Just check out the beautiful spread and all the wonderful toppings! My orange sherbet sticks out like a sore thumb, haha!
All of us at the end of the night... of course, we should've taken the picture at the beginning of the night when we weren't stuffed with pita and hummus, ice cream, and s'mores. I just love how we all got so dressed up too! Oh, fun! :)

Home-made Orange Sherbet! Mmmmmm.... it was a creamsicle delight! :) I've had this ice cream maker in my house the entire time, and only thought to make ice cream now (well, Ashley's ice cream party really prompted the idea)! Hopefully it won't be the last time ;)

Another mini-high school reunion! Here I am with both April and Reggie on Saturday night. It's crazy... I literally haven't seen Reggie since graduation, and... can you believe it? He was my prom date! Hehe! I'll admit, when I first moved back home... I dreaded running into people from high school because I was afraid of having the awkward conversation that makes you realize that you no longer have anything in common with this person except for having gone to the same high school... But you know, it really isn't so bad. It's nice to reconnect with old friends.

I really don't like my hands (I think I have old lady hands, but that's really besides the point...), but I decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure on Friday afternoon! I really love my nail polish color... it's fun! And it gets me excited for warmer weather!

I always love flipping through old photos, especially old family photos. With everything else I've been doing (which really doesn't feel like much), I've decided to also make it a project to organize all these photos.
