I just love shopping for my nephew! The outfits for little kids today are sooo adorable! I realize now that I probably should have put a regular size sweater next to it for comparison, but I think you get the gist of it.

Finally getting my appetite back... I made roasted red pepper soup (from scratch!) and finally got to use my immersion blender. Can't wait to try it out on other soups of the season!

The adjacent hallway to the coffee shop I work at in the library usually puts up artwork of local artists in the area. This current artist's work is incredibly loud and colorful, so many people enjoy it! Not only did I enjoy his abstract work, but I loved learning about his lifestyle... he just surfs and paints... must be nice!

I taught myself how to knit from watching a youtube video. (They are an excellent resource!) Knitting relaxes me. I'm currently working on a baby blanket, but might do some side projects as well. (I found some other videos on other projects that I hope I have time to learn... I'm so excited!)

If ever there is a card section at a store, I will always make sure to peruse through them even if I don't need one. I'm not sure if it's the corny writing, or the cute drawings... I just really enjoy reading them. If I have time to, I always try to make my own cards.

This day was soooooo hot that I just had to buy a box of popsicles to cool me off. I also really love orange popsicles on a summer day. I think it makes me feel like a kid again...

This set of statues of children playing are right outside CHKD (the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters). I pass by it almost everyday and it always puts a smile on my face.
