I know, I know... It has been awhile since I last posted. I've been busy (but a good kind of busy) between school, volunteering/interning, and the gym...!

Yes, I decided to join the local gym, and I'm so excited that I did! I've been a member for about two weeks, and I can only hope that I will continue to be as active as I am now.

My late morning brunch status-post work-out: a strawberry, banana, and mango smoothie with a spinach and parmesan omelet and toast (I ate it as an open-faced sandwich). Yum!

It was such a beautiful day that Snickers and I just had to go out on a Sunday stroll around the neighborhood. Now Snickers normally hates going on walks... she can be a nervous wreck(!), but she was able to walk up and down my street which is more than she has ever walked in the past (at least with me)! I was very proud of her :)

Here are some things I got from the art store on Saturday!

I made this arrangement of hydrangeas and roses...

... And you know I just had to get this stamp! It screamed my name :)

Now that I sense that Spring is just around the corner (the days are getting longer and temperatures are warmer), I'm excited to get a number of projects underway! Look for an addendum to this post in a couple of days... I'll show you just what I have in mind ;)

I began my morning with a nice long run. It was the first time I ran outside since November (with the exception of the Santa Shuffle) and it felt really good. I'm so glad it's starting to get warmer. All the exercising I've been doing really has improved my endurance. It was so nice to finally run the full trail by my neighborhood without feeling tired or out of breath; instead, I felt like I could run for much longer.

Later that evening, I had an impromptu night out with the girls again! That's two weekends in a row! :) They're so much fun!

Here are some of my orchid plants that should begin to sprout new stems soon! I love taking care of them... I'll make sure to take plenty of photos when they're in bloom!

It turns out that Tara was my secret valentine for the underwear exchange! I just loved the little container that it came in (Tara is just so creative)! I didn't take a photo of the underwear because it was a bit risque`... hahaha, though very girly! ;) Ooooh lala indeed!

Now, anyone who knows me knows that I love to sing. Ever since I moved back home, I've realized that I've been doing a lot more singing and dancing in the car more than I ever have in my life. It's so much fun! I'm sure the people that pass me on the road think that I must be crazy, but you know... I really don't care. As long as I'm safe and having a good time, that's all that matters ;)

On Valentine's Day, I found that someone had left some goodies on my front porch! I was initially hesitant to indulge until I found out that they were from Ashley! I can't thank you enough for them :) Not only were the cupcakes delicious, but the mere thought of you dropping them off made my day ♥
